Jeffrey Palmer and Friends

The first concert of the Midland Music series, the professional music series of the Bronxville Women’s Club.  We welcome countertenor Jeffrey Palmer as our first guest artist.

Singer and actor Jeffrey Palmer has been performing in the theatre and concert halls since very early childhood. As a sopranist countertenor Jeffrey has delved into the rich history of sacred and operatic countertenor repertoire alongside folk pieces and contemporary works. Born in California, raised in Virginia, and educated in England, this New York based performer has been praised for his eclectic musical taste and the ethereal quality of his voice.

The concert will start with traditional countertenor repertoire accompanied by string quartet. Following intermission, the afternoon jumps to the present with Jeffrey joined by guitarist David Fox as the two perform as the Palmerfox Duo. They were formerly known as Rain Society.
