HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE PROGRAM: “Monuments and Memorials in Germany: Creation and Controversy.”

For Holocaust Remembrance Day, Steve Goldberg will present an illustrated program on how Germany has confronted Holocaust history by creating different kinds of remembrances. From monuments that were erected soon after World War II to more recent installations, the memorials reflect how a nation has confronted and interpreted its painful past. Mr. Goldberg is the Co-Director of Education, Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center and Chair of the Social Studies Department for the New Rochelle City School District.
