Hamm & Clov Stage Company Presents: NOOR

Hamm & Clov Stage Company presents a FREE performance of NOOR, an original, dance theater work that has received international acclaim in London, Paris, New York, and Edinburgh, at Sarah Lawrence College in the Suzanne Werner Wright Theatre in the Performing Arts Center, on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 8pm.

NOOR tells the true story of young Noor-un-nisa Inayat Khan, code name “Madeleine,” a Sufi pacifist brought up in a house filled with music, art, and spirituality, and her incredible journey as a courageous spy during WWII.   She was posthumously awarded France and Britain’s highest awards for civilian bravery during wartime: the Croix die Guerre with Gold Star and the George Cross MBE.

Written and directed by Sasha Spielvogel, Artistic Director of Labyrinth Dance Theater, and featuring Felicia Norton, a solo dancer of international recognition, with an original score by Emmy nominated composer David Majzlin.  Co-choreographed by Ms. Spielvogel and Ms. Norton.
