Family Ties: Legacy ARTiculated Exhibit Opens at the NRCA Rotunda Gallery at City Hall
The New Rochelle Council on the Arts presents “Family Ties: Legacy ARTiculated” at the Rotunda Gallery at City Hall from August 11 to October 15th. An opening reception will be held at the gallery on Tuesday, August 18th from 5 pm to 7 pm. “Family Ties” is a unique and extraordinary exhibition featuring the works of artists who are no longer with us and are the fathers, cousin and uncle of Westchester residents, including New Rochelle. The works by nationally and internationally known artists include the paintings and photographs of: Barbara Bullock, Albrecht Hipser, Bernard Gilwit, Herb Leff and Lorenzo Reid. A special feature of the show highlights not only the artistic careers of the artists, but also their family history in words and photographs. The NRCA Rotunda Gallery is located in City Hall at 515 North Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10801. Gallery hours are: M-F, 10 am – 4pm, the gallery is wheelchair accessible.
