Family Studio: Science Projects

Creative activities inspired by the Museum’s collections and exhibitions, led by Junior Docents and arts and science professionals.  Ages 7+, can be adapted for younger children. Free with Museum admission.

On Saturdays, Make a Food Web, a ring of cords that looks like a “dreamcatcher,” and weave in cardboard images of organisms that live in the Hudson River. Designed by Queens College professor John Waldman and Hudson River Museum educators.  Join Dr. Waldman in the workshop March 5.
