A series of life size portraits that explore our ethnic diversity.
Our country is a land of multiple ethnicity. Cultural diversity is what defines us as a nation. Here are six intimate portraits of Westchester residents. Their homelands span the globe from Mexico and Jamaica in the Americas, to Italy,Ukraine and Armenia in Central and East Europe, to as far east as South Asia India. They range from first to third generation Americans whose families come from a variety of social and economic backgrounds. The subtleties of their ethnic features open new doors to one’s perception of beauty. While these faces tell individual stories, each expresses the pride and dignity that underscore our common bond of humanity.
