“Eye on Art” Lecture: “Everything Your Math Teacher Never Taught You, or Tales from Both Sides of the Brain, Part II”


Join us in The Rye Arts Center’s Performing Arts Room to enjoy this fascinating lectures on art and explores the many ways that artists have (wittingly or not) used mathematics in their work.

This lecture will be given by Gail Roman, Ph.D. in art history, Columbia University. Gail is a curator and lecturer with expertise in Russian avant-garde art and architecture and is widely published in catalogues, journals, and books. Gail is also a seasoned lecturer at professional conferences, major museums and universities in the U.S. and Europe.
