Emerson String Quartet concert
We welcome the return of this world-renowned ensemble. The Seattle Times has placed it “high in the pantheon of chamber music,” while The Times (London) has enthused, “with musicians like these there must be some hope for humanity.” Their program will include Mozart’s String Quartet in D Major, K. 575; Dvorak’s String Quartet in E-flat Major, Op. 51; and Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 5 in B-flat Major, Op. 92.
