Gina LaVay Presents “From underground to beauty– the art of thinking big and taking creative risks”

CCCW presents Gina La Vay

Driven by her innate love of storytelling and inspired by the grit, diversity and energy of the people she photographs–the known and unknown, in extraordinary or ordinary circumstances–Gina LeVay works throughout the world on independent, editorial and commercial projects for clients such as Vanity Fair, ESPN, Smithsonian and WWE.  LeVay’s work has been shown extensively in solo and group exhibitions in the US and Europe, and her award-wining work, The Sandhog Project, was exhibited as a large-scale multi-media installation at New York’s Grand Central Terminal.

Join Gina as she journeys back through the career-defining projects and shares the stories behind the images while talking about the importance of knowing one’s creative process and those essential tools she has learned along the way that continue to help her execute her vision and evolve as an artist and story-teller.
