Downton Chappy – Costumes of the Downton Abbey Era

The exhibit is based on the popular TV series Downton Abbey. It features dresses and costumes from the New Castle Historical Society’s extensive costume collection.

The “Downton Chappy – Costumes of the Downton Abbey Era” exhibit will also have a selection of beaded bas, long kid gloves and hats. One is a silver cap perfect to slip over a head of bobbed hair and dance the Charleston. Stop in for a special treat, and decide who had more style and more fun: the blue bloods of Downton Abbey, or the red blooded ladies of Chappaqua.
