“Divine Intervention” Photographs by Kimberly Patino at the Harrison Public Library


Harrison Council for the Arts presents “Divine Intervention” photographs by Kimberly Patino at the Harrison Public Library, Halperin Building, 2 Bruce Avenue, Harrison, NY on view December 3 to January 5;   meet the artist December 9 from 2 to 4pm.

Kimberly Patino  is an American photographer and visual artist.

She began her career as a photo assistant for portrait photography company, Glamour Shots.  Working in a fast-paced studio, Kimberly began to hone her skills in photography and uncovered her true passion: visual storytelling.  With a focus on portraiture and photojournalism, her work focuses on identity, body image and the relationship between immigration and Americanism.

Kimberly received her BA in 2014 from Hunter College. Her work has been exhibited in group shows to include: the 440 Gallery, the Bowery House and the Art Crasher traveling gallery. Kimberly’s work has also been featured in various publications and web articles such as Fashion Grunge and Adobe Student.

The exhibit may be viewed Mondays and Wednesdays 9:30am to 9:00pm; Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 9:30am to 5:30pm and Sundays 1:00 to 5:00pm.  For info call the Library at 914/835-0324 or see www.harrisonpl.org.
