Dedication of Ruby Dee Park

The New Rochelle Council on the Arts will join with the City of New Rochelle,  the Ruby Dee Commemorative Committee, and the Dee-Davis Family on Saturday, October 10th to celebrate the legacy of actor/activist Ruby Dee by dedicating the park at Library Green in her name.  The ceremony will take place in the park with a reception to follow in the lobby of the New Rochelle Public Library. Ms. Dee’s son Guy Davis will perform.
