2016 marks the third year of the Emelin’s extraordinary “eclectic performance series” (The New Yorker). Each evening of Dance Off The Grid features multiple world-class performances surveying the diversity of today’s dance landscape, followed by a Q&A with the artists. The award-winning tap choreographer Michelle Dorrance known for pushing the boundaries of traditional tap in dynamic and compelling new ways will bring her company Dorrance Dance to perform on the opening night of the series. Additional performers to be announced.
