CULTIVATED SPACES: “New Cosmologies” by inti figgis-vizueta

Commissioned by Copland House for its acclaimed CULTIVATE 2020 emerging composers institute, inti figgis-vizueta’s New Cosmologies is an improvisational work based on a visual score of shapes and marking created by the composer. Evolving from moment to moment, the piece pushes the performers to be both individually and collectively interpretive.
