Community Sing, Tree Lighting, and Crafts

Each year the New Castle Historical Society decorates for the season using items that the Greeley family would have used when it was their country home from 1864-1873.  All events are free and open to the public!

New Castle Community Sing presented by the Chappaqua Orchestra at Robert E. Bell Middle School (3:30 pm – 4:30 pm)

Old Fashioned Crafts Workshop, Greeley House (4 pm – 6:30 pm)
Children of all ages are invited to create old fashioned crafts, including button wreaths, paper snowflakes, quilled paper stars, cork critters, and natural seasonal decorations. This workshop will be from 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm.

As darkness falls, the Society’s Tree Lighting celebration (Greeley House) starts at 5:00 pm and marks the beginning of the holiday season. As a special treat and to delight the little ones, that jolly old elf, Santa, will pay us a visit.
