Bozeman Lecture: Understanding Global Conflict: The Worldview of Adda Bozeman

Titsworth Marjorie Leff Miller ’53 Lecture Hall
April 11, 2016 / Monday
5:30pm—7:00pm

While many believed that the end of the Cold War would usher in a new era of international harmony and cooperation, quite the opposite has occurred. To better understand the tension and tumult in today’s world, this lecture will explore the teachings of Adda Bozeman—a leading authority in the field of international relations and one of Sarah Lawrence’s most illustrious former faculty members. Not only does her scholarship embody unusual geographic and historical range—from Europe to Asia to the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa—but her keen insights appear as relevant as ever.
