Black History Month Celebration


Westchester Alliance of Black School Educators in Partnership with New Rochelle Black History Month Committee and the New Rochelle Council on the Arts invites you to the 8th annual Black History Month event.

The event will include WABSE Spoken Word and Art Show, City School District of New Rochelle student work, kids activities, food vendors, crafts vendors, book sales, author signings, student performances, professional performances, and more. Every school in the City School District of New Rochelle will be represented and all families are invited. Students, faculty and community members will be honored.
Art show and kids activities are FREE and performances cost $5 for adults and $3 for students. All proceeds go to scholarships. Come and join the fun!
