Bill T. Jones / Arnie Zane Company Work in Process Showing

Join us for to see the piece the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company has been developing during their stay at Bethany. This is a rare opportunity to see a Westchester performance by the world-renowned company before it goes on to be performed around the world. This is also one of the most intimate setting to see them perform. The audience is never more than a few feet from the dancers.

This will be a work-in-progress showing of Deep Blue Sea, the newest piece the Company’s been working on right here in Ossining. The piece explores the relationship of loneliness/aloneness as it pertains to, or contrasts to group identity. The work will begin with a solo figure that will be performed by Mr. Jones or a company member, evolving over time into an ensemble of the entire company. Deep Blue Sea will be a meditation on the nature of community building in a confusing era.

It will be an entertaining evening of dance for the whole family!
