This presentation chronicles my immersion in photography, from my first encounter with nude models to my current interest in surrealism. My work currently encompasses fine art nudes and abstract juxtapositions. Images generally are rooted in memory or dream fragments, both equally illusive.

Born in Iran, I grew up in an itinerant family, living in the Middle East, Europe, United States, Asia, and Africa, before settling in the United States and becoming a citizen. A casual photographer all my life, I started to take photography seriously after retirement.

The Color Camera Club of Westchester, serving photographers here in Westchester County since the early 1950s, was founded to sponsor and support activities for the camera enthusiast. Our purpose is to help beginning and advanced photographers learn photographic skills that will increase their artistic ability and their pleasure of photography. We have weekly meetings on most Monday nights at 7:30PM at the American Legion Hall, 27 Legion Drive, Valhalla, NY 10595 where professionals and advanced photographers present educational and artistic programs designed to further the proficiency of our members and guests.
