Storytelling is as old as time, and great theater is storytelling at its best. Basetrack Live is a gripping performance piece drawing on the power of individual stories to examine the collective experience of those who have served in America’s longest war. This multi-disciplinary work, created by Edward Bilous adapted by Jason Grote in collaboration with Seth Bockley and Anne Hamburger is based on the wildly popular website, One-Eight Basetrack, launched by Teru Kuwayama with photos and videos taken in Afghanistan as an embedded journalist.  Basetrack Live is at the intersection of theater, music, new media, journalism, and technology.
