Arts Alive Project, Artist & Arts Education Grant Information Session

Come and learn more about Arts Alive Community and Individual Artist, and Arts Education grants which fund opportunities available to Westchester-based artists and cultural organizations.

Arts Alive Artist grants provide direct support to artists to create original new work that incorporates the community as context. Projects must be initiated by the artist and reflect the theme of community in both the end product and the creative process.  Two $2,500 awards.

Arts Alive Project grants support arts and cultural programs at the community level. First time applicants are most competitive. Artists may apply to this tier in tandem with a fiscal agent.  Grant awards: $1,000 – $5,000

Arts Alive Education grants, formerly Arts Partner Challenge, provide support for partnerships between individual artists or cultural organizations and Westchester public schools (grades K-12).  Projects must focus on the exploration of art and the artist process. Grant awards up to $2,500.
