An Evening with Marie Howe & Victoria Redel


Marie Howe is the author of four volumes of poetry: Magdalene: Poems (W.W. Norton, 2017); The Kingdom of Ordinary Time (W.W. Norton, 2009); What the Living Do (1997); and The Good Thief (1988). She is also the co-editor of a book of essays, In the Company of My Solitude: American Writing from the AIDS Pandemic (1994). She holds an MFA from Columbia University and teaches at Sarah Lawrence.

Victoria Redel is the author of three books of poetry and five books of fiction. Her new novel, Before Everything, was published by Viking Penguin in June 2017. Loverboy (Graywolf, 2001) was adapted for a feature film directed by Kevin Bacon. Redel is on the graduate and undergraduate faculty of Sarah Lawrence College. She has received fellowships from The Guggenheim Foundation, The National Endowment for The Arts and the Fine Arts Work Center.
