“A History of the 50’s & 60’s Through Popular Song.”

Performer Marc Black presents, the history of the 1950’s and 60’s through the lens of popular music. During this period popular music evolved from being an escape from reality to being a powerful communication tool for many.

Marc Black has created an engaging and humorous program, during which the audience can relive this colorful time in our history.  Popular songs that are covered include Blue Suede Shoes, Bob Dylan’s Blowin in the Wind and many more.
