Ground Glass Photography Exhibition
at The Rye Arts Center

 

The Ground Glass, a Westchester-based association of photographers, will be hosting “The 46th Annual Ground Glass Exhibit,” a juried selection of photographs at The Rye Arts Center Gallery.

Paul Stetzer will serve as the juror for this year’s exhibit.  Mr. Stetzer is an accomplished landscape, portrait and documentary photographer and highly regarded photography instructor.  Galleries in New York City, Philadelphia, Vermont, Massachusetts, Florida, Mexico, and Cuba have exhibited his broad portfolio of work.

The 46th Annual Ground Glass Photography Exhibit will be on display from May 18 thru June 18, 2022.

A reception with the photographers will be held on Thursday, May 19, from 5 – 7 PM at The Rye Arts Center Gallery.
The event is free and open to the public.

The Ground Glass, founded in 1975, is an independent association dedicated to promoting the practice and appreciation of fine art photography in Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT. It serves as a forum for photographers to express ideas, share technical information and participate in juried exhibitions. The group also addresses issues concerning photography through lectures, demonstrations and workshops. The Ground Glass currently conducts its monthly meetings via Zoom sessions on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, September thru June, at 7:30PM. Non members are welcome to join and may request a guest pass via the contact link on the Ground Glass website, www.thegroundglass.org. In 2022, The Ground Glass plans to resume monthly in-person meetings at the Rye Arts Center, Rye, NY. Please check our website for info whether meetings are on zoom or in-person.
