Peekskill Open Studios Weekend: Exhibition Open Saturday, June 2nd from noon to 5pm

When creative communities come together, great things happen!  Peekskill’s rich heritage in diversity is highlighted in this exhibition that showcases art from a variety of local communities. The exhibition is sponsored, jointly, by the Peekskill Art Association (PAA), Hudson River Healthcare (HRHCare), and the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art (HVCCA) and will be on view at Hudson River Healthcare: Jeannette J. Phillips Health Center, 1037 Main Street, Peekskill, NY from May 14 until June 28, 2018.  Exhibition organizers welcomed all nationalities, ethnicities, orientations, ages, faiths, and gender identities to participate.  Works in the exhibition include drawings, paintings, prints, photographs, collages, digital art, performances, and sculpture.  Connections between community and creativity are highlighted in many of the artworks on display.
