TRISTATE OF MIND
Clay Art Center’s 2016 Regional Juried Exhibition
January 30 through March 19, 2016
TRISTATE OF MIND, a regional juried exhibition featuring a contemporary cross-section of emerging ceramic artists working within a 75 mile radius of Port Chester, NY. The exhibition will showcase a breadth of sculptural, installation and functional work.
Juror: gallerist and curator Leslie Ferrin.
One artist will be selected for a solo exhibition at Clay Art Center July 30 – September 16, 2016. The winner will be chosen by a sub-committee of individuals highly invested in the future of crafts in New York City:
Glenn Adamson, Director of the MAD Museum
Jennifer Scanlan, Independent Curator
David McFadden, former Chief Curator at the MAD Museum
Barry Harwood, Curator of Decorative Arts at the Brooklyn Museum
Open to emerging ceramic artists who live or work within 75 miles of Port Chester, NY and have been in the ceramics field professionally for under 10 years.

Application fee $25.
Clay Art Center is a not-for-profit ceramic art organization offering exhibitions, clay classes for adults and children, studio spaces for clay artists and outreach programs in the community. It is located in the heart of Port Chester at 40 Beech Street, Port Chester, NY 10573. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 10am-4pm or by appointment.
