FRI, APRIL 30 THROUGH MAY 2: Spring Crafts at Lyndhurst 

Beginning this Friday, The Spring Craft Show at Lyndhurst returns with a variety of artworks by 150 craftspeople and makers. Guests will discover handmade original fashions, functional and sculptural works in ceramics, fine art painting and more. The event will also include gourmet foods,  food trucks and tastings from local distilleries. Begins at 10am on Lyndhurst Greenhouse Grounds.

SAT, MAY 1: In-Person and Virtual Concert with Milton 

This Saturday, Tarrytown Music Hall will present a socially-distanced live performance with singer-songwriter Milton. The event will be simultaneously live-streamed via Facebook and YouTube. The artist is known for his distinctive voice and soulful songs, which are steeped in classic rhythm and blues, pop, jazz, folk and country. Begins at 8pm.

SAT, MAY 1 & SUN, MAY 2: Hudson River Potters Spring Show and Sale

This weekend, Bethany Arts Community will host fifteen ceramic artists of Hudson River Potters for its in-person show and sale. Hudson River Potters is an organization of more than 40 potters who live and work in New York’s Hudson Valley, including Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Dutchess counties. Begins at 10am.

SUN, MAY 2 THROUGH MON, MAY 3: Paul Neubauer performing Schumann and Shostakovich

Friends Of Music Concerts will present a livestream concert from the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, featuring Paul Neubauer on viola. The program will consist of works by Schumann, Benjamin Dale, Fritz Kreisler and more. The concert will be available on the organization’s website through May 3.

THURS, MAY 6 THROUGH MAY 27: Film Study: Asian American Films

Beginning on May 6, The Picture House’s May Film Study Program will honor Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Will Tiao, an L.A. based writer, producer and filmmaker, will lead the class in discussing important Asian American films, including the documentary Who Killed Vincent Chin?, as well as the narrative films Formosa Betrayed, Saving Face and Minari. Classes will be held on Thursdays at 7:30pm on Zoom.
