Position Available: Community Arts Teacher
Clay Art Center (CAC) is seeking teaching artists to lead clay programs for groups of 12-25 students both in school and during after school hours. CAC is also looking for teaching artists who have experience working with special needs populations, both children and adults, to lead clay programs in a variety of shapes and sizes. This is an independent contractor position.
Eligible Applicant must:
· Have experience working with children, teens or seniors in a classroom environment.
· Some clay experience
· Be available during after school hours 3-5pm
· Have transportation to off site schools and community centers in Scarsdale, White Plains, Rye and Greenwich, CT
· Be willing to work with a mentor instructor to assist one class before working independently
