The Westchester Jewish Council in co-sponsorship, with the Westchester County Parks Department, invite artists to participate in the 41st Annual Westchester Jewish Music & Arts Festival. The Festival will be held on Sunday, August 16th 2015 at the Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla, NY from 12 – 6PM. The Festival is free and open to the public and is held rain or shine.
The Festival features a vendors/exhibitors area. Last year we had 60 vendors. As this is our third year, we are offering you a discounted rate of $100 to become a vendor at the Festival if you sign up before July 15. After July 15h the vendor rate will be $125. It’s a wonderful opportunity to reach many different people in the community and our vendors are highlighted in our email newsletter.
Here are the details:
a) You would need to supply your own table and chairs and be at the Festival before 11:30am to set-up your designated area. The Festival ends at 6:00 PM.
b) The Festival expects to feature musical performances by Welt-stories and songs of the yiddishland, Nafshenu, A Shmear of Musical Mayhem with Bobby Doowah, Cantor Randy Herman, Members of Kol Hazzanim-the Cantors of Westchester and the Westchester Klezmer program, as well as Israeli dancing sponsored by Camp Zeke and family entertainment. There will be loads of fun family activities. Food will be available for purchase.
