Creative Writing Teaching Intern

Do you love kids? Are you excited by the idea of helping children learn to write short stories and plays with beginnings, middles, and (drum roll) endings? Writopia Lab, an award-winning 501(c)3 non-profit that runs the country’s best creative writing workshops for kids ages 6 to 18, is looking for interns.

Our interns are half teaching assistants, half camp counselors, who are able to serve as role models to our young writers while cultivating their love for writing and confidence. While in workshop, interns provide typing, editorial, and moral support to our writers.

If you are excited by the idea of joining a community of writers and helping children learn to write, please email a brief introductory statement which includes the semester you are applying for and your available dates. Additionally, please include a current resume and a short response to the following question: “Why do you want to work at Writopia?”
