CMA is looking to hire a Teaching Artist for an in-school interdisciplinary architectural arts partnership at Westchester Hebrew High School (WHHS), 856 Orienta Avenue, Mamaroneck, NY 10543. We are preferably looking for a Teaching Artist living in Westchester who can commute to the school. The Teaching Artist will expose students to architectural drawing, sculpture, and installation of varying scales using traditional and non-traditional materials to create individual and collaborative geometric and organic structures. Students will learn about the fundamental principles of linear perspective, form and function, scale, and measurement. Also, they will be inspired by a variety of architectural spaces from different places and times.
