Calling Student Musicians: Participate in an Intergenerational Concert on April 17

New Westchester Symphony Orchestra (NewWSO) is looking for student musicians from the tri-state area to perform in its second Intergenerational Concert, to take place at 3PM on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at White Plains High School.

There are NO AUDITIONS to participate, and there is no expectation that students must play the music perfectly. This is an opportunity for students of all ages and skill levels to have fun sittting in with a full orchestra.

NewWSO is looking for most orchestral instruments, especially string instruments, in all grades.

Williams Theme from Schindler’s List
Faure Requiem (with the Walter Panas HS Chamber Choir)
Beethoven Symphony No. 6

Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30pm (or 7:00-9:30pm with parental consent)
March 2, 16, 23, 30
April 6, 13**
(Minimum of only two rehearsals required, incl. Dress Rehearsal on 4/13)

There is no cost for students to participate. Parents are encouraged to perform with their children, and music teachers are encouraged perform with their students.
