The Lazarus Gallery at United Hebrew of New Rochelle looks forward to presenting a FiberArt Celebration. This exhibition will feature an eclectic mix of work: a visual feast of color and texture representing a diversity of ideas, materials and techniques of work being done in the contemporary fiber arts world today.

Visual artists working in a variety of fiber related techniques including:needlework, felting, hooking, bead work, quilting,rugs, tapestry, weaving, and wearable art. Sculpture, portraiture, and figurative works can be 2 and 3D, mixed media: paint, ink, paper, crochet, resin, wire, found objects and other materials with fibers. Artists are encouraged to push the limits of the medium, working with new techniques and materials.
The maximum dimensions not to exceed 48 inches x 66 inches. Individual works may have a maximum weight of 75 pounds. 3D works or sculptures over 50 lbs. must be set up by the artist and be stable and safe for viewing.
Complete submission form. Imagery of artwork must be in a JPEG format only, 72 dpi sized at 10 inches in either height or width. Include title, media, date, dimensions, and any special instructions for installation.
Artists may submit up to 3 images.

DELIVERY, INSURANCE and RETURN of ARTWORK
Artists are responsible for the transportation to and from the gallery, and all related costs including packing and insurance. United Hebrew will use all due care in the handling of artwork while on the premises but artists are responsible to insure his/her own work for the duration of the exhibition. Work should be sent in a substantial, reusable box or packing crate.
Artwork submitted can be considered for sale and must be made available for the duration of the exhibition. United Hebrew receives 30% of the retail price of any works sold.
