360 Xochi Quetzal: FREE Mexico Day of the Dead Residency

Would you like to be in Mexico for our Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations?

360 Xochi Quetzal is offering a two-week residency through CaFÉ … for a visual artist!

Residency will include accommodations in an ensuite studio (KING-sized bed & a FULL kitchen), daily breakfast, (6) days of excursions to visit nearby communities celebrating Dia de Muertos, participation in one of our Artistas Juntos ~ Artists Together salon evenings, (2) days of “down time” to explore the villages of Lake Chapala and a weekend pass to the Feria Maestros del Arte.

Submissions are $40 and must include an artist statement, your CV and (6) images of your work. Submissions will only be accepted through CaFÉ.

Deadline for submissions: Saturday, September 21st at 11:59 pm

Rules and Terms:
The activities will be plein air or wandering by design, so please understand that participation with be excursion-based. Dates for the residency are firmly Monday, October 28th – Monday, November 11th. If you wish to extend your stay (for a fee) by arriving prior to October 28th or leaving after November 11th, please be in touch with us to secure additional accommodations. 
You will be responsible for your travel costs to and from Mexico and daily expenses (additional meals, shopping, etc). Transportation on the arranged excursions is complimentary. Gratuities for the drivers are always appreciated. If you choose to travel on your “down time” days, you will be responsible for those costs.
The residency is offered to you as an individual. If you have a spouse, friend or another artist traveling with you there will be an additional fee.
