Speakers:
Barbara Galazzo

Cold Spring, NY

Barbara Galazzo is a New York fused glass and mosaic artist originally from New Orleans, LA. Galazzo’s work is a celebration of color.Out of the element of fire emerges a kaleidoscopic window of colored glass inspired by nature. My work has always been a celebration of color, movement, light, shadow and texture undulating in rhythmic patterns.Galazzo mosaic sculptures have been exhibited at Collaborative Concepts @ Saunders Farm, Habitat for Artists, Reeves Reed Arboretum, NJ and Leonia Park, NJ.

Joseph Cavalieri
Stain glass artist
New York, NY

Joseph Cavalieri is an award winning native New York artist and educator. His work can be seen in the permanent collection of the Museum of Arts and Design, the Italian American Museum, the Leslie-Lohman Museum, the Stax Museum, in the collections of two Simpson’s writers in Los Angeles and the collection of movie director Morgan Spurlock. He has produced many private and public art commissions including a MTA Arts for Transit public art installation at the Philipse Manor Train Station in Westchester, New York. Cavalieri’s aim is to merge contemporary imagery with the time-honored processes of painted stained glass, a material with a powerful spiritual history.
