HOW TO APPLY:
Send an introduction, up to (10) HIGH RES (300 dpi and up) photos * of your product / the suggested items you would display at the event, and a biography to Kim McKoy at [email protected] Incomplete applications cannot be reviewed. Deadline to apply is a month before the event takes place (For example, the June 20th event deadline is May 20th). No exceptions as we MUST print press materials. Due to the high number of expected applicants, the selection process is a combination of “first come, first serve” and curating a well-rounded display of items. You will be notified as soon as possible if you are selected.

iOS Development Instructor
The Edge teen center at the White Plains Public Library is looking for an experienced developer and/or computer science professional to assist with the “iOS App Development Camp” scheduled for the summer of 2018. We are seeking individuals who love working with teens; are extremely knowledgeable of computer programming and graphic design, and are able to teach.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting teens with the day-to-day operations of creating an iPhone application, such as graphic design and computer programming.
- Facilitate discussions based on programming and graphic design principles.
- Teaching graphic design, Swift programming, Objective C programming, GUI design, Xcode, and other topics related to iOS development.
- Assist with publishing of iOS app(s).
We are offering $3000 for this two week position, July 9-20. Hours include the iOS App Development Camp which runs 9am-12pm Monday-Friday, as well as staff training sessions and additional preparation and planning time.

Running a successful ceramics studio is a team effort, so there are always opportunities to get involved at Yonkers Pottery. Participants contribute to the physical life cycle of the studio by dedicating time to clean and perform tasks critical to maintaining a safe and smooth-working environment for everyone’s enjoyment, as well as time to teach, monitor studio hours, help with sales, events, marketing and social media.
Internships – Experience first hand the nitty-gritty of a successful teaching community pottery studio while fulfilling your school’s internship requirements or your own personal goals.
Work Exchange – In exchange for working at the studio, you are compensated at an hourly rate to be used toward firing credits, classes or the use of our facilities, equipment and resources to further your skills and build your body of work and portfolio.
