Artist Calls for Memories From Larchmont and Mamaroneck Community
Artist Christine Aaron has called upon her local Larchmont / Mamaroneck community to share significant memories to her The Memory Project. Aaron believes that an individual’s life experiences and memories shape who that person is. This project aims to bring her community together by encouraging people to tell their own unique story. Those who choose to share can do so at a number of upcoming workshops, or by contributing an audio or handwritten memory on the project’s website. These submissions will be integrated into an art installation at Mamaroneck Artists Guild in November. Aaron was awarded one of ArtsWestchester’s 2017 Arts Alive artist grants for the execution of this project. For more info, visit: thememoryproject.space.
