Beloved Disney Musical Takes the Stage in White Plains

]A beloved tale will come to life on the White Plains Performing Arts Center (WPPAC) stage this winter.  With fully-designed costumes and set, the Disney classic Beauty and the Beast will tell the story of Belle, a young woman who, when she wanders into a castle, meets a cast of quirky and unusual characters. The crux of the tale is rooted in the fact that these characters are all imprisoned under a spell: Lumiere, the candlestick, is actually the castle’s maître d’; Mrs. Potts, the teapot, is head of the castle’s kitchen; and Beast is the young prince who is to blame for getting them all trapped under the spell.  The curse will be lifted once Beast can learn to love and be loved in return.  Based on the animated Disney musical, this stage production presents beloved songs like Be Our Guest, and Beauty and the Beast.  WPPAC will present the musical from December 21 through January 13.
