A Lineup of Free Performances Announced by Downtown Music at Grace

Throughout the month, Downtown Music at Grace (DMG) continues its tradition of free Wednesday afternoon performances. Each week, the organization presents a midday respite with a performance from 12-1:15pm at Grace Episcopal Church in White Plains. On May 3, violinist Anna Rabinova and pianist Svetlana Gorokhovich perform a program that includes Brahms and Chausson. May 10 presents a Downtown Music debut with award-winning pianist Jiaqi Long. On May 17, the 14 musicians of DMG’s resident chamber orchestra, Downtown Sinfonietta, present an all-Mozart program. The four-piece REBEL Ensemble for Baroque Music’s performance on May 24, “Court, Country & Chapel,” will include works from Fux, Bach and Telemann. Finally, “Epiphanies,” a collaboration between vocalists Ruth Cunningham and Gilda Lyons on May 31, celebrates both ancient and contemporary vocal inspirations. For more info, visit: dtmusic.org.
