When 8-year-old Kevin is mistakenly left behind from a family trip, he finds himself protecting himself and his family’s home from two robbers. Mamaroneck Chorus, a community-based project incorporating musicians and singers from the Mamaroneck, Larchmont area, will be premiering at the Emelin Theatre. A December 8 concert, orchestrated by local Mamaroneck music teacher Steph Chinn, features original rock, funk and jazz arrangements of popular and holiday music from artists like Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen, Radiohead, The Beatles, Katy Perry, Talking Heads and more. The age range of the performers spans from 8 to 70, with student, parent and teacher representatives from every school in the district.
Join the Songcatchers for a poignant concert filled with songs of peace, as well as interfaith carols and songs of the holiday season, performed by their intergenerational Concert Choir and Ensemble. Songcatchers is an organization that reaches for peace through music by providing quality music education. The culmination of these efforts can be witnessed during this annual Concert for Peace as they work together to bring beauty into the lives of others. The concert will take place at the College of New Rochelle Chapel and there is no charge for admission – goodwill donations only.

The annual Music Hall Holiday Market at the Tarrytown Music Hall is a curated event that highlights the best in handcrafted goods and showcases over 30 local and regional artists and makers. Along with live music, opportunities for photos with Santa and seasonal snacks, a toy drive will benefit Toys for Tots. The market is an opportunity to participate in the local arts community by supporting indie pop-up shops and local, homegrown businesses.

Explore rooms on the two main floors of the Mansion, each of which will be enhanced with elaborate tableaus of décor that change every year. During this month only, the curators bring out rarely seen items that belonged to Lyndhurst’s former owners, which they add to the elaborate displays. Tours begin the Friday after Thanksgiving and continue through December 30.
