Art Boutique Opens November 21 at Pelham Art Center

Art Boutique: November 21, 2020-December 23, 2020 

Artist Opening Saturday, November 28 | Members Sale December 7-December 12

Pelham Art Center presents its annual exhibition and sale of handmade art items beginning Saturday, November 21st and an in-gallery Artist Opening on November 28th.

Art Boutique highlights a dynamic collection of quality, affordable handmade items for sale, from Saturday, November 21 through Wednesday, December 23.  Art Boutique will feature one-of-a-kind items by local and national artists who represent a range of traditional and modified artisan techniques. 

The Art Boutique also includes an exhibition of work by emerging and mid-career artists, all priced under $2,500. This annual exhibition is the perfect collecting opportunity to take home affordable artworks and to directly support artists. 

Artists and artisans include: Assembled, Julia Whitney Barnes, Hera Bloom, Ai Campbell, Jeanne Carreau, Charles Clary, Beatrice Coron, Lisa d’Amico, Sami Mordacai Elderazi, Kate Fauvell, Barbara Galazzo, Katy Garry, Alejandra Hernandez, Indievibezs, Kristin Javier, Jo Jayson, Sara Jimenez, Aron Johnston, Lance Johnson, Barry Mason, Christina Massey, Leigh Taylor Mickelson, Charlotte Mouquin, Phushia, Alexis Portilla, Donna Ross, Susan Saas, Jason Schwartz, Manju Shandler, Alexis Trice, and Susan Wortman.

Small Business Saturday – November 28th

The Pelham Art Center Art Boutique is a unique alternative to commercial holiday shopping and a response to the numerous craft fair cancellations in our region. The Art Boutique will be open on Small Business Saturday, a national day that encourages consumers to use their purchasing power to help local community businesses thrive. The Art Boutique will participate in Pelham Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Saturday initiative: learn more on their Facebook page. Gallery hours are: Tuesday – Friday 10am – 5pm, Saturdays 10-4pm*. *Small Business Saturday hours extend until 6pm.

Virtual Artist Reception – December 3rd

Attend a virtual opening reception with the artists and makers of Art Boutique on Thursday, December 3rd at 5:00PM. Discover pieces in the show and learn more about the artists. Details to join the Zoom reception are on the Pelham Art Center website.

Members Sale
