ArtsWestchester, seeks an executive assistant to the CEO who enjoys a hectic, fast-passed, and creative work environment. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented person with confident phone manner, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good judgment, computer proficiency, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
We are New York State’s largest non-profit arts council advocating for the arts, serving as the leading grants-maker in Westchester, promoting local arts and cultural resources, provide a wide variety of arts services to the community and schools, and operates a major cultural facility in the heart of the city of White Plains.
The CEO relies on an assistant who can adapt easily to changing priorities. Duties include: scheduling, providing support for Board and staff, preparing meeting materials and minutes, maintaining records, communicating with committee members and writing a monthly electronic e-newsletter.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree; competency in Microsoft Office suite of programs, and at least two years of experience. Salary: $30,000 to $45,000 depending on experience.
