Tagkanic Chorale Celebrates 50th Year with April 29-30 Concerts
It was 1967 when the Taghkanic Chorale (originally named the Mt. Kisco Chorale) was founded. Now based in Yorktown Heights, the group has been performing timeless, serious choral music ever since – led by a succession of extremely gifted and accomplished choral directors.
To commemorate its 50th year, the Chorale will present a celebratory program of Haydn and Handel on Saturday evening April 29 in Valhalla, and Sunday evening April 30 in Ossining. Music Director Steven Fox, whose work has been nominated for a Grammy Award, will conduct, and an elegant reception will follow each concert.
